Lived here for over a year, moving out was the best decision I have made. To start out in the winter they do not clean the parking lot very well if at all. It took a week for them to get it Salted or sanded after an ice storm. It was a few inches thick of ice, then during that period they put up notes threatening to fine residents if they didn't clean around the garage door. Where were we supposed to clean it to with the lot full of ice? The snow would melt off the roof and flood the garage because the lot was so full.
Goldmark will screw you over any chance they get. Don't yourself a favor and do not rent from Goldmark. Putting in the extra work tomorrow find one managed by someone else.
The neighbors are horrible. For a place that didn't allow dogs I sure had to listen to a dog walking on the floor above a lot. There was several times they would argue and loud bangs would occur but it's useless to tell management because they won't do anything. I had to take care higher the issues myself. Nobody parks in the garage so goodnight luck having people over ever. The garages are just used for people to go out and do drugs.
Just moved out and am so glad. For one our apartment was not thoroughly cleaned when we moved in, so I had to clean some of it. Then when we moved out my daughter & I scrubbed every wall and the bathrooms head to toe. I cleaned the bathrooms extensively. There was two small spots on the wall where my daughter had 3M hooks on that didn't come off nicely, so I knew that was needing to be painted & one drawer she missed wiping out in the kitchen...so I knew a couple things we missed. The lady doing the inspection comes through & basically said we didn't clean! She said the walls were dirty, soap scum in one of the showers & there were a couple holes (there were no holes) so they needed to have a painter come in & they were going to charge us $200, then since we opted to have them clean the carpets (because they told my boyfriend it would only be about $90 to clean them) she says it will be $175 to clean the carpets, then says oh the cuboards are a little dirty so we need to bring someone in to clean the kitchen too. So your estimated total is $485 dollars. Our deposit was $400, so I'm pretty sure it was just a BS atempt to keep our deposit. Will never recomend them to anyone!
I'm planning on moving into these but, I'm wondering about having a dog. Could I get more information about that?
Lived here 8 months. Paid $675 for a 2 br 1 bth with double garage. Fairly priced, the apartment was clean when we moved in, and service issues (caving dry-wall, toilet problem, etc) were taken care of within days of request. After extensive cleaning, got back all of our deposit except a minor fix and the obligatory carpet cleaning. Location is nice except rush hour commutes can be terrible if you're trying to get into town. Old reviews may reflect old management.
I've lived here for two years and love it! They're constantly updating the property, and management has improved significantly over the years.
